Studio Arto Terms and Policy Agreement

COVID 19 Update:
The maximum number of people at the studio at any time should not exceed 6. Larger groups and parties can not be accommodated at this time. Studio users should follow CDC individual safety recommendations such as social distancing, wearing masks, gloves or washing hands regularly and others.

The minimal reservation is 2 hours. A one hour gap between the reservations is required to accommodate a cleaning/ disinfection procedure. An additional disinfection fee of $10 is added to each shoot reservation.

The hourly rate is $50. For long hours, reservations discounts are applied automatically as shown in the payment option menu. In addition we have Daily Rates: 8 hours – $350, 24 hours – $550.

Reservation requests are accepted following online reservation payment at:  All reservations payments have to be made in full. Studio Arto will send final confirmation after payment is received and verification that the requested time slot is available. The reservation will be shown on the studio calendar following the confirmation.

Use of the studio facility, props, and equipment should be conducted properly and is fully the renter’s responsibility. Breaking the studio equipment (except normal wear) and improper use of the equipment leading to the damage of the studio property or gears has to be repaid or replaced by renter. Studio Arto IS NOT LIABLE in any way for any harm or damage to studio users during studio use. A Renter who is booking the studio assumes financial responsibility for all the people that come to the shoot. NO SMOKING is permitted in the studio at any time.

RENTAL FEE includes use of the facility, up to 3 lights, wireless control, installed backgrounds, reflectors, light modifiers, studio props, and equipment available within the shooting space. No props, backdrops, gels, or additional equipment should be taken from the storage area.

RENTAL TIME starts as reserved, and does not change upon late arrival. All the “set ups” and “break downs” for the session should be done within the rented time frame.
Rental time can be extended beyond reserved time only if the studio is available and is not booked by other photographers at a later time, providing enough time for disinfection.

CYCLORAMA wall curve is not for climbing, running, or walking. Any damage that occurs due to improper use is fully the renter’s responsibility with a repair fee of up to $500. Heavy markings or scratching of the white cyclorama floor or wall is subject for a $45 repainting fee.

We require no less than 48hr cancellation notice in order to issue a full refund. Reservation payment is not refundable if the cancellation request is made less than 48hrs in advance. Rescheduling policy is generally the same as cancellation policy – 48hrs advance notice is required.

Disinfection $10 fee is mandatory during current studio operation due to COVID-19.

Cleaning fee $45 will be charged if the studio is left in an improper state or not in the same condition as before a shoot: left-out props, furniture and equipment, excessive trash or garbage left at the facility, or a white cyclorama that requires repainting if it soiled, painted, stained, or otherwise tarnished.

Cleaning fee is mandatory for first-time studio users, for any special events shoots such as “birthday shoots”, “cake smashing” , paint splashing, and all shoots involving bringing food, paint, glitter, or any other such messy objects. This fee can be refunded at the discretion of the studio manager.

All payments are subjects of 6% MD tax or PayPal fee. Rental prices are subjects to change at any time.

Lighting set up assistance (for setting up the lights for your shoot), as well as Photography assistance (setting up the camera or instructions for the shoot) are not available at the current time due to the COVID 19 pandemic until further notice.
